Garden Fencing FAQ
Q. How long does fence installation take?
Most residential fence installations can be completed in one day. Larger or more complex projects may take 2–3 days.
Q. Do I need planning permission for a garden fence?
Fences up to 2 metres tall (1 metre adjacent to a highway) do not generally require planning permission. We can advise based on your specific situation.
Q. How long does a timber fence last?
A properly installed treated timber fence typically lasts 15–25 years. Composite fencing can last significantly longer with minimal maintenance.
Q. Can you replace just a few damaged fence panels?
Yes, we can replace individual panels and posts as well as undertaking full fence installations.
