Hertsmere Borough Council covers a stretch of south Hertfordshire running from the Green Belt boundary with Barnet in the south-east through to the edge of Watford in the west, and it's the borough where WPE Property's home turf, South Mimms, sits. Across Hertsmere we work in South Mimms, Potters Bar, Radlett, Borehamwood, Elstree, Aldenham, Letchmore Heath, Bushey and Bushey Heath — nine towns and villages with genuinely different characters, from Borehamwood's association with Elstree Studios and its more built-up town centre, through to the small conservation villages of Letchmore Heath and Aldenham, and the commuter village of Radlett on the Midland Main Line. Hertsmere's position, straddling the M25 at Junction 23 and running along key rail corridors into London, has shaped a lot of the housing across the borough — a mix of established Victorian and inter-war housing in the older town centres, alongside more recent development in places like Borehamwood.
